Ecozoi Old Fashioned Ice Cube Trays with Easy Release Handle, 2 Pack with Rack, Stainless Steel

I clue why, but these ice trays produce the clearest and cleanest looking ice cubes of sing. I sent them out on the counter and let them fall for a moment to ease them up from the edges. Then I just pull the lever and dump the ice cubes in a Ziploc bag and toss them in the freezer. I bought two sets of these and I am not disappointed and I'm sitting here actually thinking of ordering a set for a friend. You will not be disappointed in these, they are worth the money.

We have been looking at these for a while. We were holding off because they are not cheap, but after going through several cheap ones we decided to purchase. I am super happy with these, very easy to take the ice out and they are big! the tray holder is super convenient because you can stack these types of ice trays.

The trays are very difficult to get the ice out of unless you run water over them or let them sit for 10 minutes and melt. Either way a large portion of the ice is gone by the time you can get the handle to move and the ice to break loose. These are also not very tuff pretty delicate not the quality of my youth.

After paying this much for stainless steel ice trays I would expect them to last forever.

Lower ratings as I bought two sets of these stainless steel ice cube trays with lids and one set was heavy duty stainless steel stamped ""SUS304"" the other set was noticably of lesser quality and not stamped. I would like to be sent a set of the heavy duty stainless steel ice cube trays stamped ""SUS304"" with lids to replace the set of lesser quality. I paid a lot of hard working money thinking I would receive what I was paying for.

So impressed and happy to finally using this new product . It’s easy to clean and stainless steel is so much better than plastic . There is no worry of toxic release from plastic . It’s easy to release the ice cubes with just a simple pull on the lever. The ice cubes come out so perfect ! It’s BPA free, environmental friendly , reusable and zero waste. Great investment :raised_hands::skin-tone-2:. Highly recommended.

I do what ever I can to not use plastic nor do I use city tap water which made my ice maker unusable. I decided to try this tray, it is similar to the aluminum ones my grandmother used. This tray is great and has made it possible for me to use ice again. This tray is heavy enough to last years. TIP: Unlike plastic or silicone tray this one take a bit of finesse to use. If you hold the tray for about a minute and allow your hands to warm up the metal a bit you can hear the ice release from the bottom and sides. After that gently start lifting the lever. Using a back and forth motion a few times allows the cube to break free of the molds.

I really love this icecube tray. This brand creates a very sturdy stainless steel tray in comparison to other brands out there. I admit I made a mistake with one of the two trays I purchased, and ended up bending the metal due to my failure to wait the 5 to 10 minutes. With some tweeks I managed to fix the issue and get it functioning properly again though. It works well now. You pull the trays out of the freezer, allow to thaw just for 5 to 10 minutes, and then you pull the handle to release. If you find that the handle is tough to pull, stop and wait a bit longer. You want the handle to pull with little resistance so as to not bend the parts like I made the mistake of doing. After the cubes are released I have a seperate icecube bin that I keep the released icecubes in for an easy grab. Overall, highly recommended!

These just can’t withstand repeated use. Eventually, the mechanism breaks and can’t be fixed.

I thought that I was purchasing stainless steel ice cubes. Very deceptive!

Product out of the box looked impressive. It seemed to be well made. However, after making six batches of cubes the handle bent and one of the metal components of the cube frame broke. I was hesitant to spend the amount of money on the item and now wish that I didn’t.

Although made of good quality stainless steel as advertised, the design of the removable center component that forms the ice cubes was not very good. The lever mechanism started to bind almost immediately, and a couple of the metal ""fins"" became dislodged and were difficult/impossible to properly re-position. I would NOT recommend this ice cube tray.

It works great. Fill half full; remove from freezer when frozen; set kitchen timer for 5 minutes, lift and remove contents. Not excited about the fact that it's made in China, but as long as it doesn't rust and keeps working, I find it much better than using plastic. We get enough plastic in everything else.

Fun giant cubes but one broke already. The hinge is not very strong, go easy on releasing and use hot water to loosen first.

I had problems getting the handle to go all the way down so sent one back and got a replacement and having the same problem. . . expensive and made cheaply. . . not like the old reliable ones my grandmother used. . . . waste of money. . . cubes don’t release unless you soak them and manually push them. . . would not recommend this product

Sometimes very difficult to open the tray and empty ice. Sometimes the ice comes out crushed instead of in cubes.

I missed my window for return but man, these are awful. The lever pulls like it's going to break, I tried only putting half water in the trays and it still does the same thing. There's stains left from the water each time and I've never had that before with any other ice trays. The stray holder is rickety and it's just a cheap design overall, made to look fancy and expensive. . . very disappointed, especially with how expensive they were. The ice also sticks to the leveled piece so you have to pluck them out of their areas, which is less than ideal. I've used it 4x now and each time is no better.

Love these trays! So easy to use.... so much better than my old plastic trays. Plus the tray rack is a perfect fit in my freezer. A wonderful space saver. Highly recommend this product!

I had a lot of trouble with this item. They were a Birthday gift for my mother. Although I was not happy with these ice cube trays, the seller went above and beyond to make their customer (me) happy. And made things right. Would highly recommend buying from this seller, just not the ice cube trays.

works as described, you just have to let the ice sit out for a few minutes before you pull on the handle to break up the ice

I was really excited to find ice cube trays that reminded me of my childhood. But the idea and reality are 2 different things. They broke after using them a few times. The handle doesn’t open or close completely. So, it makes them virtually unusable.

Ice trays work well. As long as one runs a tray under water before lifting the handle to let the cubes escape, these trays will last a lifetime. In other words, treat them gently. The “4” comes from the tray holder. It works fine for holding the trays and is a good convenient way to stack the trays. I wish it had a couple more brackets on top so that I could stack something on top. All in all, a very good buy.

I had been looking for the old fashioned metal ice cube trays that my grandparents had. I had ordered a couple of aluminum ones (not from Amazon) and although they were ""okay"", the trays bent a little and they were a bit flimsy. I decided to try stainless steel. More expensive but so worth the extra expense. Very easy to remove from the trays, and very sturdy. I am planning to replace my aluminum trays with these stainless steel trays.

They’re impossible to de-mold and once you do they’re half melted. They never come out as full spheres, more like 3/4 of a sphere. Waste of $.

Love that these are a more low-tox way to make ice, but mine came out the box with one of the valves unable to close properly. I should’ve sent it back immediately but I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal. It got worse after each use.
