This lunch jar is of excellent quality. The stainless steel feels thick and durable, and it keeps food hot for hours. I like that it comes with the spork and bag — very practical for everyday use. No plastic smell, no leaks, and it’s easy to clean. Simple design, well made, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
Just love it . It got everything that thermos container got minus the plastic lid. Nice material and comes with a steel spoon which is perfect to go with container.
Good product. One of the few food jars that do not put the food in contact with plastic. Wish it were a bit smaller in diameter so it could fit into my cup holders. ***Review update: canister leaked within weeks of use, manufacturer refuses to respect warranty.
This Thermo is amazing! It keeps my food hot all day and it’s super cute! It comes with a bag and it also comes with silverware. It’s super affordable and it comes with everything you need is a College Student this is my essential I use everyday !
Stainless steel and no exposed plastic :heavy_check_mark:ï¸:heavy_check_mark:ï¸ I bought 4… Has a large cavity which is perfect for school lunches. Pros:1. No seams in the cavity. (That’s huge. )2. Now comes with silicone cover for bottom.
Have been using it for few months now. Keeps the food warm just like Thermos or Stanley containers. No leakage, easy to open and lightweight. This is the only product which has stainless steel lid which is the best part. Not sure why this product is not popular. Reason maybe it is not easy to find this product on amazon search, it showed in the search results (container with steel lid) only after repeatedly checking so many times.
The product is good but the advertising for it is misleading as it does contain plastic in the in part of the lid, potentially touching or leaking on food via condensation! For those who things they are buying a plastic free product, beware! It does not leak due to the plastic ring which provides a tighter close , still, false advertising is dissapointing.
I was looking for a food jar for my baby’s meals. Most of them could not keep the food warm. This food jar is very good, keeps the heat well. It’s also dishwasher safe. I also loved the organic cotton reusable lunch bag which comes with it.
This food jar is the goat. There's nothing that can be improved. I was looking for an all stainless solution, and this is nearly the only one on the market. It also has other thoughtful design elements like:- The body and especially the lid are thinner than most food jars, and they are one piece each. It's really nice not to have those bulky hybrid plastic metal lids, or even worse, those plastic lids that have the spoon holder and then another lid on top of that. A nightmare to clean. - Since the body is thinner, the capacity is larger for the same (or smaller) footprint. It's a compact little jar. I don't notice any loss in heat retention compared to competitors. - The lid crevice for the gasket is wide and shallow, which makes cleaning the area SO much easier and more thorough. - It's super aesthetic. I highly recommend this item. I hope it lasts forever, or is available forever in the event I need a replacement. I have had one for over a year, just ordered another, and now I am looking at other ecozoi offerings which I assume are equally well thought out.

Excellent quality container! It keeps food fresh for a long time and doesn’t absorb smells. Very durable and perfect for everyday use.
These bottles are excellent for protein shakes and as a water bottle, because the entire inside is stainless steel, including the underside of the lid. Removing the silicone ring to clean the top is easy, and they sell replacements on their website. Excellent product, used daily for long time. The wide mouth makes it comfortable to drink from and clean.

I’ve been using this insulated food jar for a while now and really like it. It keeps my food warm for hours and doesn’t leak in my bag, which is a big plus. The quality feels solid, and I like that it’s plastic-free. The size is perfect for a regular meal, and the included spork and bag make it super convenient for on-the-go days. Overall, very happy with it and would recommend!
Lid broke and could not open it
Pros: Stainless steel, no plastics (not even in lid). Cons: no pressure release valve, which means it's not good for really hot soups. I tested this with boiling water and I had trouble unscrewing the lid. For mac & cheese, it's good. Keeps it warm up to 4 hours. This product can easily be a 5-star product if it had a release valve and if it came with an insulating bag.
Love this it’s just what we needed. It keeps my sons food warm hours later
Ecozoi is hitting all the right buttons for me and I really want to support their efforts, but the Insulated Food Jar does not live up to the “up to 12 hours†promise it claims. Quickly: Woman Owned? Great. Woman Work Force? Fantastic. Austin, TX? USA! Love it. More importantly, tend to trust it. PLASTIC FREE? Deal Maker!! Carbon Neutral? Planting Trees? All gravy. But, if you expect that gravy to be hot,…First of all, I LOVE this food jar. It is mostly designed very well though I have a couple of issues. I love the wide mouth. Easy to fill. Easy to clean! Easy to use. It has a silicone seal which does not leak. The lid is completely PLASTIC FREE (!) which is so hard to find. The lid has little ribs on it which are a nice design element, but also makes it easier to remove. I think a similar design element at the bottom of the jar would be equally useful and a nice design element. I have issues with my thumbs which reduce my grip strength. I did have some trouble holding the bottom of the jar while opening it. I may just add some non-slip tape like you use on stairs to the bottom of it instead. This part is hard to write. Basically, I’m saying this jar doesn’t keep my hot stuff hot for even four hours. Here’s the process I followed for a week:I boil water and pour it into the food jar with some tea. Put the lid over it (but I don’t screw it down). I then pour some bone broth in the pan I used to boil the water and heat that up. It just comes to a boil when I pour my tea into a bottle (for the fridge) and immediately pour the heated broth into the heated food jar. Put the cap on and screw it down. Then, put that food jar with the broth, into a neoprene cozy and zip it shut. BTW, it’s nice that this fits so snugly into my neoprene cozy. Then, 4-5 hours later, I sit down for lunch. First thing I notice is that the contents of my backpack are warm. I thought that was odd, but by the time I got to my desk and opened it, I knew right away why. There were no fluid leaks, but there was a massive heat leak. I don’t have temperatures to report here, but consider; if you heat soup/broth/tea to 200º or more, you’re going to sip it in hopes that the airflow will cool it enough to prevent the little things on your tongue from burning. When I got to my desk for lunch, (4-5 hrs) I was able to slam this broth down. For years I used the Thermos brand and for most of that time I searched for replacement lids that were not plastic. That’s actually how I found these. With those, in the exact same scenario, I would use caution each day not to scald my tongue. Bottom line ladies, I don’t think I am alone in my desires for your success, but you’re not there yet with the insulated food jar. Please continue R&D! I want to know of re-designs. I want a SS Food Jar that keeps my food hot! I want several! Hey, maybe even reverse engineer just a lid for the other guy’s food jar. You might sell a million of those. A++ for effort and please keep trying.
The Ecozoi insulated lunch box is excellent quality and perfect for daily use. The stainless steel design feels very durable and keeps food warm for hours. I also like that it comes with a spork and a small carrying bag, which makes it convenient to take anywhere. The 17 oz size is ideal for a kid’s lunch or a light meal. Overall, a well-made, eco-friendly product that works exactly as expected. Highly recommended! :+1:
Good quality, wide mouth and easy to use
I was looking for a insulated food jar for my kids lunch and this is great! It keeps your food warm and is the perfect size to add food! Some containers I have seen are too small, but is great! It is easy to open and close, to wash, and keeps your food nice and warm! Great product!!
Ok quality overall, but doesn't keep things hot for very long. Like that it doesn't have plastic.
I wanted to give 5 stars because the container itself is exactly what I was looking for: just a stainless steel container and stainless steel lid with a silicone(?) sealing ring. It keeps things hot for a long time, especially if you fill it with boiling water for a while before you put food in. I also appreciate that it came wrapped in tissue paper in a cardboard box (no plastic). However, the bag it comes with is made with synthetic fibers, most likely a blend of polyester and cotton, judging by the fact that it leaves a small bead when burned. Fabric made with synthetic fibers is essentially plastic (major source of microplastics), which is obviously not eco-friendly and undermines all the effort to avoid plastic elsewhere in the product and packaging. The spork isn't very useful to me as an eating utensil, though it is very sturdy, so I will keep it around in case I need a tiny crowbar. I would rather have paid a little less to just get the container without these accessories, especially the synthetic blend fiber bag which I now have to find an ethical way to dispose of.
The Ecozoi thermos says that it keeps food warm for up to 12 hours, in my experience the thermos only keeps food hot for 1. 5 hours and warm for up to 3 hours.
Got my hands on this and I think it’s such a cool, cute lunch box. . have been using it to pack my hot lunches this winter and they stay hot for hours! I feel happy every time I get eat from it because I am making a difference with an eco friendly choice which is good for the planet and good for me!Do not doubt and buy this if you are looking for a lunchbox and did I mention it also comes with a spork (spoon + fork). . how cute it is! :u1F970:
This works great for my kid. Kept the food warm and was easy to clean. I did pour boiling water in the thermos to activate first & then put the food to stay warmLonger. Size is good as well as I pack fruits also.
This food jar is fantastic. It keeps soup warm for hours and is made with quality materials. I absolutely love it and recommend it!
Really like the full stainless steel design with no plastic part. Wide mouth and easy to clean. Had a bit trouble to open at the beginning after placing hot food in the jar, but opened easily after using a thin metal object to release the pressure.
